Avalanche Awareness Night

Whether you are planning to ski Crested Butte’s legendry steeps or quest to explore the backcountry, being aware of the avalanche risk and what to do if caught in one are essential to staying safe. Take the first steps in staying safe in the backcountry and sidecountry this winter by joining the Crested Butte Avalanche Center on December 1, 2018 for Avalanche Awareness Night at the Lodge at Mountaineer Square in Mt. Crested Butte.
Avalanche Awareness Night is the biggest fundraiser of the year for our local avalanche center. There will be avalanche education topics covered by the CBAC forecasters and guest speakers, beer, pizza and a blistering raffle. Doors open at 5 pm, Program starts at 6 pm.
