Kung Pao Live at Public House

Kung Pao is a rock and funk collective that got it’s start in Crested Butte, Colorado. Humble beginnings soon grew to bigger opportunities as the boys got a reputation for tearing the roof off with their slinky originals and their ability to work a room- packed houses full of smiling faces and shaking booties are the norm at a Kung Pao show.
Annual Halloween performances allowed the KP crew to pay homage to many of their heroes with “tribute” sets, and soon many of these songs worked their way into their reportoire, from The Bee Gees to the Beasties, from Mötorhead to the Grateful Dead. Kung Pao was named “the ultimate ski town party band” by Powder Magazine, and has been the supporting act for many of their favorite bands, including Primus, Long Beach Dub All-Stars, and Micheal Franti & Spearhead. Join the original members for a special free show honoring their long time manager and muse, Pete Curvin, for an old-school Crested Butte throw-down, Kung Pao style.
