Celebrate on the deck at Uley’s Cabin to commemorate the life and times of Uley’s Sheer with a BBQ, live music, games, prizes and an Uley Sheer look-alike contest. Who is Uley Sheer? The memory of Uley Sheer lives on in Crested Butte as a mountain man who was a miner, a moonshiner, trapper and local jailhouse cook that lived out his days in a small cabin on Forest Hill. Uley’s reputation is the inspiration behind the dining and entertainment experience at the Cabin. Happy Birthday Uley!
